The Turkish Presidential Office announced its expectations that tourism revenues in Turkey in the next 2022 will exceed the $30 billion barrier, amid a continuous rise in the number of tourists in Turkey.
This prediction came in a report published by the office under the title of the Turkish Presidency Program for the year 2022, and it was published in the official newspapers, today, Wednesday.
The report indicated that the number of tourists in Turkey between January and August of this year 2021 reached 14.1 million, registering an increase of 93.3% compared to the same period last year 2020.
And he indicated that the number of tourists in Turkey by the end of this year 2021 is expected to reach 23.2 million, an increase of 82.2% over last year, with revenues of $22 billion.
The report also expected that the total number of foreign tourists would reach 32.3 million next year, with revenues expected to reach $30.4 billion.
